Snape's childhood

Severus Snape's parent's ( Eileen Prince and Tobias Snape ) argued a lot and hardly ever talked to him. Imagine that.
Snape loved Lily Evans ( Harry potter's mother) because when he was young she was his only friend and he loved her.
Snape was anxious to leave for Hogwarts because he`d never been that far apart from his parents for so long. He went in Slytheren and Lily went in Gryffindor. At Hogwart's James Potter, Sirius Black, Rimus Lupin and Peter Pettegrew bullied Snape.

How Severus Snape's family treated him

Severus Snape's family treated Snape like he wasn't worth anything. His family didn't care for him. When ever you saw him Snape always wore a shabby over large man's coat and to short pants. Before Lily Evans talked to him he watched her as much as he could instead of doing house-work. When he started Hogwart's he was really happy to get away from them.

Have you ever wondered what Snape did BEFORE he went to Hogwarts?
Before I read the 7th Harry Potter book I did. Severus Snape spent most of his time reading but the time he liked the most was his time with Lily Evans:He loved her.He loved talking to her and he loved the sound of her voice. He truly loved her.

When Severus Snape was young he was a master potion-maker so he edited his potion's book and made-up his own spell 'SECSEMPRA'.In Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts he finds Snape's book and not knowing what the spell did he used it on Draco Malfoy then got in trouble with Snape. If you read the sixth book you will find out about it.

If you saw Severus Snape would you know it was him? If you wouldn't he is a sallow-faced, average height 53 year-old man with shoulder-length greasy black hair, a big hooked nose, cold beetle-black eyes and he always wears black.Severus Snape is almost always short-tempered.
When you see Snape from a distance he look's like an over-grown bat, sweeping around in his black cape.

The Life of Severus Snape by Zoe Forbes

Severus Snape was born on January 9, 1960, and went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He hated James Potter, Harry Potter's father, but he loved Lily Evans, Harry Potter's mother. He was very talented at the art of potions making and interested in the Dark Arts. Snape loathed James so much because James had humiliated him a number of times.

When Snape grew up, he became a death eater, one of Voldemort's followers. Then when he heard that Voldemort might kill Lily, he begged Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, to save her. Dumbledore agreed, but on one condition: that Snape work for him and give him the information that Voldemort was telling him. When Harry Potter came to school (unknowing he was a wizard until the groundkeeper of Hogwarts, Rubius Hagrid, told him) Snape thought he was as arrogant as his father.

On the train to Hogwarts, the Hogwarts Express, Harry met two of his best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. In Potions class, Snape chose to ignore Hermione when she was bouncing up and down in her seat with the answer. He thought that she was acting like a two year old.
In Harry's first year at Hogwarts School, Snape protected Harry because he thought that might get even with a thing that James had done. The joke (as Snape had called it) was a thing when Sirius Black, Harry Potter's godfather, had told Snape that he could see a werewolf if he went down to the Whomping Willow on a full moon. Snape had gone down and he could've gotten killed if James hadn't saved his life. Snape thought, however, that James was saving his own life more than his.
Snape was constantly trying to take points from Gryffyndor because he himself was head of Slytherin, the house he had been in when he was young.
Severus Snape died on May 2, 1998 because he was murdered by Voldemort and Nagani, Voldemort's snake. It was only after Snape died when Harry discovered Snape's big secret. If you want to find out what that secret is, I suggest you read the Harry Potter series.

In the Harry Potter series, Severus Snape hardly ever gets mentioned except he's sort of like a background character until the 6th book when he comes out as one of the star characters.
